Designer Matthew E. Dye comes from a family of golf
course architects dating back to the early 1900s. He designed the course
at Dos Lagos to suit a range of abilities, from the novice to the professional.
The par 70, 6,700-yard course features gently undulating bunkers, an expansive
fairway with views of the Cleveland National Forest and natural open space
areas, and tees set at several vista points, where topography plays a
part in the strategy of the game.
The course features three lakes and winds along the tree-lined Temescal
Creek, which has been restored as a dedicated easement overseen by the
Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District.
Donavan Brothers Golf have been retained to manage the daily operations
of the public golf course upon its opening
