What's new: Wood Ranch BBQ and Grill
What it is: A full-service restaurant and bar serving an American menu.
What it offers: Barbecue dishes, fish, salads, steaks and burgers. "It's not the traditional barbeque place," said Alejandro Benes, director of marketing. When the average person thinks of a barbeque restaurant, he or she thinks of a shack or a simple structure, but when people walk into Wood Ranch, they're walking into a premium casual restaurant, he said. What stands out is the quality of the food and the setting, he said. The restaurant features two patios, a bar and two fireplaces. The restaurant also offers tailgate service for take-out, so patrons don't have to get out of their cars to pick up orders.

Dori Berlin, the Wood Ranch food and beverage director, left, supervises training on the grill. "It's not the traditional barbeque place," says Alejandro Benes, director of marketing.

The Corona location is the chain's 11th restaurant. Benes said the Dos Lagos site was selected because of the growth in the area and a lack of similar restaurants.
