If you have traveled I-15 between the Lake Elsinore and Corona, you have seen it. There is a golf course taking shape behind the The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos mall that sits between the Cajalco and Weirick exits, east of the freeway.
Several holes of the Dos Lagos Golf Course are clearly visible from the highway, including the 419-yard, par-4 16th, which climbs along the foothills. Other holes have been graded, but no sod has been laid.
According to Rick Danufer, of Donovan Bros. Golf, the course is scheduled to be completed early next year.
The web site, at www.doslagosgolf.com, contains a routing map of the 6,530-yard, par-70 layout.
