| If you’re tired of driving to Fashion Island to go to Z Gallerie, we have news. Corona’s Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos are arriving just in time for holiday shopping. Upscale merchants, including Coach, Anthropologie, and Z Gallerie, will open their doors October 6. Charlotte Russe, Chico’s, Coldwater Creek, J. Jill, New York & Company, Talbots, and White House/Black Market are among the clothing shops represented. Restaurants include RA Sushi, T.G.I. Friday’s, and Urban Thai.
More than 40 businesses are currently signed for the 600,000-square-foot center, and additional retailers will be added during the next year, says Amy Brown, general manager. “Very few of the stores we have here are available in Temecula or Riverside,” Brown says, so she expects customers to come from those areas as well as Corona.
Located at the intersection of Temescal Canyon and Weirick roads, the shopping area borders two lakes and a waterfall connected by a trellis-covered walkway, which leads to an amphitheater. “It’s definitely an outdoor center,” Brown says. “You can sit outside and look over the lakes.” A 15-screen theater and more restaurants, including Citrus City Grille, Miguel’s and TAPS Fish House & Brewery, are expected to open by the end of the year.
